Performance of 450 vs. 350?

A couple of weeks ago I had a chance to run it down a drag strip and chickened out. I was fearful of voiding the warranty. Always wanted to run up to the governer cut off speed.
I've never felt it was under powered. Just not as brisk off the line as the 350 and Jim "Cruiter" has explained that very well.
