I'm comparing the ride in my 2013 Rx450h to a 2008 Rx400h - Wow! No comparison. The 450h is very smooth and quiet. The dealer guys also said they think the 2013 rides much nicer but they are not sure why. The Tech Rep said he is trying to query his "special" contacts to see why but so far they can't explain it. BTW, I have the 19" aluminum alloy wheels with all-season Dunlop tires. Would rather have had Michelins but I'll see how well these fare in comparison.

Well, if that's the case, GREAT! Now, if they had only not made it slower, heavier, and taken away the AFS headlight system, sounds like it would be almost a homerun.

The Dunlops are junk ... I have them on my 450h and I am going to try and get them off my car as soon as I can. I will put a few dollars aside each month to make throwing away the tires a little less painful.

Here is the tire:

Here are some ratings:

UCSB, I did the swap with Discount Tire within 500 miles of purchase toward Pirelli Scorpion Verdes and they gave me $90.00 credit per tire. Certainly not ideal, but it softened the blow of the new tires somewhat.

Cool! There's a Discount Tire across the street from my office. I'm going to stop by there in the morning and see if they'll give me a similar deal on my Dunflops! Thanks Paul B. Let us know how you like them.
