Default Missing sight shield (under body cover)?

Hi,

I just looked under my rx and I believe it doesn't have this cover in between the front and the rear covers. I see the the two black oil drain plug etc. See the pics below. I see holes on the front cover ro which this missing shield will attach to but I dont see anything on the rear cover. Did anyone ever took this off and put it back? After looking around, I found this parts catalog and I am assuming I need the sight shield. Is that correct?

12th or 13 th picture. A whole flat cover is sitting on the floor...Of course its a GS350..

That's exactly how mine is. But you see the 3 or 4 holes in the front cover of your photo, that's what made me think that there should be something between the two. Again, coming from Infiniti/Nissan, both of which had complete cover (just allowing exhaust come out), might be what's misleading me. I guess we just need a third person to confirm

Thanks for posting this and the engine harness photos... All I can say is that six sigma, kaizen and lean manufacturing are to blame...

Anyone know the name of the panel/cover, or better yet the part #?

Need to find a replacement.
