You can get the new ones with the F appearance without having to buy an F sport. You get the front bumper and wheels. Heres what I saw at Newport Beach Lexus on Sunday. Hasnt hit the lot yet. Still had the white plastic on it from transport.
Im in love! It looks so nice in starfire pearl! I noticed it has the F-sport bumper but what happen to the F-sport badges?

The special lease rate on the '12 is probably delaying the launch of the '13 a bit. That ends on June 4th.
When I was shopping and following what Lexus was doing with their promotions, the special rates expired around that point in the month. But, they typically were back in place in a day or so if there were still cars that they needed to move.
Well, good for you ... that is a nice dealership. I didn't swing by the overflow lot (a couple of blocks west of dealership). Is that were you are hiding any additional 2013's coming in?
what! only on fwd? That sucks. I hate the feel of fwd. I was going to try to get that package in awd for my wife. will they offer a awd f sport?
Thats interesting since the awd on the rx is only activated when it is needed. Otherwise, it is fwd until the computer senses that it needs it and turns it on.
Sounds like June 30th is the day to buy whatever one wants; will want to move another left over 12, and sell a 13 that they should have a few of to make their quarter; gotta get those bonuses and spiffs...lol

its alright. The facilities could use a refreshing compared to say Magnussen in Fremont. We actually have two overflow lots. One we share with BMW/Mini the other we share with Acura/Infiniti. Were all under the same corporate umbrella. But yes we have 3-4 more 2013's that just arrived on the truck

That is the appearance package (F-sport mesh lower bumper valence and 19" wheels), hence no F-Sport badges. Only the RX350 AWD F-Sport will have the complete F-sport packaging including the badges.
My dealer finally got 3 in; have not processed yet, but got a good look! He had both a hybrid and a regular one with AWD; they did have their guy putting the rub strikes on both of them as the first step of getting ready for display. I am getting a '13 so didn't ask about discounts on the many '12's they had iin stock!! Also had a mean looking LFA hiding in the back!!

I drove a 2013 450h today and loved it. Pohanka has two 2013 450h's (A Nebula Grey and an Obsidian) on the lot now and 6 or 8 350's. The 450h I drove still had its shipping film on the hood and roof and door edges.
The steering wheel and Enform 2.0 / navigation interface update definitely rock from the driver's point of view. On the outside the new horizontal slat grill, LED DRLs and new tail lights are all improvements to my eye.
I'm looking at a special order and deciding on color and options.
I did have a look at the Claret Mica "red" color (on a GX) and am definitely NOT loving that color. It's, as the name suggests, much more like a dark red wine and nowhere near the more pure red of the 2012 and earlier Matador Red Mica. Right now I'm loving Stargazer Black the most. It has a bit more pop than the Obsidian.
Re packages, I was leaning towards Luxury but not sure it it worth the $3400 MSRP over the Premium package for the addition of:
- heated steering wheel,
- power front seat cushion extenders,
- semi-aniline leather,
- illuminated door sills,
- headlamp washer,
- 19" wheels, and
- smog-sensing automatic climate control recirculation.
The dealer was unclear as to whether the luxury package includes the LED headlights. The lexus.com pricing page says no but the brochure (page 70) says yes. The pricing would seem to indicate yes.
I can see myself just ordering the door sills separately (just because I think they're cool). I do like the look of the 19 x 7.5" split-5-spoke alloy wheels with Superchrome finish but am not sure about 19" vs. 18" tires as I tend to prefer the softer ride attributed to 18" . Still even if I wanted the 19" wheels they are available for $770 MSRP. But then if Luxury does indeed include the LED headlights I might just dive into the deep end with that.
Updated with pics (note 2nd pic is a GX but included to show the Claret Mica color).
