i might be a part of the minority here..
but i still need time getting used to the horizontal/ spindle grille.
somehow, this "new look" of the RX reminds me an Ex.. the GX 470

No, I don't play soccer!
Neither one of the dealers I visited Friday had the '13 RXs out.
The horizontal grill is a bit strange after 14 years vertical. To me it gives the RX a sedan look. I'd be curious to see a few of the new models with the spindle grill side by side.

I just stopped by Lexus of Austin (TX) today while in town for business. Still not 2013's here. Salesman was saying "sometime after the 10th".
It's dumbfounding that we can track inconsequential Fedex packages almost to the minute but entire truckloads of Lexi are impossible to nail down to any precision better than later this month.
While initially attracted more to the F Sport grill type (or appearance package in the case of the 450h), I'm now warming more to the horizontal grill overall. I have an '01 Silversport with the honeycomb grill and never did warm to the vertical "Jeep Grand Cherokee" style.

TRUST ME< there is someone in that dealership that knows EXACTLY when that truck is arriving and what is on it and probably has MSRP/Invoices already. It is the " sell him a 2012 and put the date out there for '13's!!!!!!" Game. Remember, car dealerships are full of

My local dealer is sending out e-mails for 0.9% financing on the 2012s. The push is on the move out the 2012 inventory to make room for the 2013.
I doubt we'll see under MSRP on the 2013 in the next 90 days or so. (I'd love to be wrong on that as I'm in the market for a new 450h.)

LOL. I am sure you're right dctex. I'm sure they know the VINs of what's incoming to them since they left the factory and the exact arrival date.

Yes,
Thankfully we have a number of Lexus dealers to choose from here; I will check dealers in LA and find a good deal! I am sure my "local" dealer in Escondido will not deal on 13's....he told me 4 months ago they were discounting 2012's very little; of course a lie, but you have to fight for a good deal here!!
