this thread was NOT about the distance you would buy a Lexus...
but rather, the distance of the closest local servicing dealer. My concern was 200 miles round trip every time the car needs SERVICE (not maint.)

I definitely would. I drove about 280 miles to buy my 2013 RX 350. As far as servicing, I do have a local toyota dealership. I was told that service needs to be done once every 12 months or 10000 miles. So ya driving 100 miles to get it serviced wouldnt be a deal breaker for me. I would personally look at it as a road trip and make the most of it. Thats just me cause I am a big fan of Lexus.
