Has anyone seen any spy photos of the next RX350, or possibly read about any enhancements to the 2013 RX350 coming out fall of 2012? I like to trade every 3 years and my timing has been spot on with a 2007 and my current 2010.

There have been rumors of a minor facelift for 2013, however, most folks are in agreement there won't be major changes until the 2015 model year. At most you might see the LEDs below the headlights which seem to be popular these days. Personally I don't care for them but that's a matter of opinion.

The closest thing to an hard info that I've seen were comments made by Akio Toyoda (President of Toyota) at the 2013 GS launch back in August 2011:

"the design of the GS [is] going to be seen on future Lexus vehicles" and "...this is just the beginning. Next year, Lexus will launch nine new or updated vehicles."

i havent seen any info on that one yet. I'm presuming updates like LED lights on the headlights like on the upcoming GS, LX and on the current IS and CT models. Probably a little change on the bumper.. Nothing much, we'll see by fall of this year.

If you search the net you will find a picture of a possible 2013 RX that was in a Japanese publication. It has a grille similar the the new grill design on the newly released GS. I like the current layout better ... so this may not be an improvement.

I am personally expecting very minor changes functional changes. But they can change the grill, headlights/tail lights for a small investment.

This comment seems to imply no new electronics in 2013 for the RX.

Or does that comment mean the RX gets the update and the larger screen?

The 2013 RX will get a minor change (spindle grill) and will be released in April/May. It will also receive the enform 2.0 and updated mulitmedia for the nav like that in the GS. It will not get a larger nav screen. The f-sport (like the japan photo above) will be released in Aug/Sept.

can you tell us whether the current version with GPS, nav... 2010 et above before 2013 can be updated/upgraded to get the enform app. and multimedia?
How ? downloading at the Lexus Dealer garage?
How much? any idea?
Can we think that this upgrade will be available for all models/all markets or selected markets?

I just bought a brand new 2012 and was unaware that the 2013 was coming out so soon. So my '12 will be out of date in another 3-4 months?

well it depends on how you define out of date.
the 2013 will ONLY have a few changes, mostly cosmetic, if you believe the rumors.
i drive a 2011 RX which is quite similar to the 2010. i bought it a few months before the 2012 was rolled out.

2012 models have only been out for 3-4 months. The 2013s dont come out until september/november and even then we don't know for sure if there will be an update

To me buyingthe RX isnt like keeping up on the latest iphone. I wouldnt be very concerned about being considered "out of date" by your neighbors.
