All I can say is that I can click on destination points, POI's and previous destinations while moving. Personally it's easier and safer to just use the voice command. Somewhere on this board there was a posting about a 'secret' menu that is accessed by the service department and I believe this was addressed. Somebody posted instructions on how to get to it.

Exclamation

I apologize for the redundancy but I do not see anywhere that gives the exact instructions for the 2012 lexus rx 350 navigation override. Has anyone found anything that will not lock out the navigation system when going over 5mph?
I understand that it is a safety feature but it is MY car so I should at least have the OPTION of using it how I want to. I can't begin to tell you how frustrating it is and it is actually more dangerous to have to keep pulling off to the side of the road to make it work not to mention, and let's be honest here, voice recognition does not work a majority of the time. I waited so long for this car, I wish I would have known about this issue.

We have the nav bypass solution that you are looking for. Here is the group buy thread on it for your specific model:

The only way to make disabled features available is to temporarily sever the connection with the speed sensor wire. This includes playing DVDs, which are also linked to the e-brake.

Has anyone installed the Beat-sonic system in the Rx as offered in the group buy mentioned here:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/clu...s-100-a-6.html

I posted but so far there has been no response. Perhaps I posted in the wrong place? Plug and play is fine, but how involved and how do you tear apart the dash to get to the required wires? I found no instructions on the beat-sonic website? Anyone have pictures or experience with this?
