After reading searches on the cargo cover ratle most removed it to solve the problem. I don't want to remove it but the ratle is driving me crazy. The fixed piece of the cover on the hatch was loose and the dealer fixed that but that didn't solve the problem. I have read people talked about felts strips. Did that work and if so where exactly did people put them?

+1. I really want it but still had to remove it because the rattling was annoying.

felt strips do help but not a complete solution. one way to reduce the noise is to leave it in extended/covered mode. additional tension from extended mode almost prevents rattle noise.

I used the felt strip and it has removed the rattling for me.
