Default Condensation in Exhaust pipe normal?

Car has only done approximately 1000miles and when i parked it up on my drive ( its on a gradient), I noticed dripping from the exhaust rear joint. Is this normal?

Default normal

Exhaust condensation is normal. This is due to the design of the exhaust system and the catalytic converters. The exhaust system (primarily the cat converter) gets so hot to reduce emission levels that it dos create condensation. This is in no way harmful to your vehicle. I only suggest (if appearance is an issue) that you wipe the end of the exhaust tips from time to time to prevent them from discoloring.

^^^ Excellent answer. Just want to add that if you run a gasoline and ethanol mixture (called oxygenated gasoline), there is a higher concentration of water in the ethanol, so some of this does develop into steam during combustion.

Thank-you for the replies. The water isn't coming out of the end at the exhaust tailpipe, but at the joint on the exhaust near the rear box. Is it ok? Sorry for being so paranoid.
