Love the look and how it mounts to the crossbars.

It's a great fit. Easy to put on and off. And fits just perfectly (although you need to put the front crossbar as close to the front as possible, not using the recommended rubber spacers).

It’s very sleek looking Cargo Box. However, it's a little pricey.

Totally agree with you on the price. It's ridiculous. However, it's cheaper than a new Lexus and it looks really good on the car. Plus the drag and air noise are minimal for a box of that size.

i have to disagree with the rest.. it doesn't look good to me.
maybe i have a bias againts having cargo carriers on top whether it's on the RX or the Range.

unless you're using it everyday, i don't really get the appeal of having something on top which looks like a missile.
i prefer having the bags/ coleman etc at the rear instead.

on a technical point, your coefficient of drag will be affected with a cargo carrier on top, which leads to more gasoline consumption = Lesser mpg

What? You don't like the RX with this cargo box on top? There's always one in the group hey? Just kidding. I'm sure you're not the only one who doesn't think it looks good. I agree i like the look of the car without the box better. But for me, i think this one looks the best out of the other ones that i've seen. And i'm not using it everyday, just when i need the extra storage (if i needed the extra storage daily, I would have purchased a larger vehicle).

To be honest, i didn't even consider the bags at the rear. I assumed (perhaps incorrectly) that i wouldn't be able to open the hatch with the bag on (which is a requirement to let the dog out). I also don't think they would fit snowboards or skis.

Obviously the gas consumption is going to be affected, but thankfully the awesome missile design keeps it to a minimum

Default Hockey Box

I have had the Thule Boxster on my RX 350 for six months now. The price is ridiculous, but I found a vendor that offers free shipping and 20% less then retail (HumblePower) , so that helped.

I agree It's a great fit. the front crossbar has to be mounted as close as possible, to the front.

I have kids that play hockey, so this box stays on the car for most of the year, with that said, the price premium was worth it.

Are there any of the other Thule's that fit the 2011 RX 350 and allow the back door to open all the way?
Seems in research all I can find are posting on this Boxster and the Atlantis 1600.

Thanks.
