Default Weathertech Side Window Deflectors

Okay, they're not JDM but they didn't cost me $500-$800 either. Only $114 shipped to my door and if it cracks, discolor, or just sick of it...then I can just take 'em off without feeling guilty.

I've been waiting for the price of JDM visors to come down and I was hoping for Sewell to carry it just like the mud guards but no luck. I was waiting for someone here to buy the WeatherTech and post pics but after more than a year of waiting... no one . So, here are some shots of the WeatherTech Visors. I peeled off the "WeatherTech" emblem and replaced it with "Lexus" decals.

(note: excuse the dirt, I haven't washed the car lately )

Do you get more wind noise @ freeway speed with the windows slightly down? Do you experience squeaks and maybe cracks whrn operating the front windows? I did have them all and had them returned. If it were'nt for those reasons, i'd have kept them. Seems like they are not of top quality fit.
Anyway, look good tho.

Good questions stw2046. I don't know yet because I just finished installing them 5 hours ago and I haven't driven the car yet. As far as squeaks and cracks when operating the front windows, I don't have those issues. I opened and closed the windows several times after the install. It does say on the instructions to keep the windows closed for at least 12 hours so the visors will seat in. But who knows....I'll keep you posted.

papaalex: I got it done a while back at the local mall cart that does decals.

cwd: Very nice stereotype but no I don't smoke. I have the JDM visors on my IS300 and I liked it aesthetically and it's functionality. During summer I crack the window open when I park and the visor conceals it. On occasion when it rains, I can crack open the window and the water won't get in.

I drove the car today @ freeway going approx. 70-80 mph and with the windows closed same as before without WeatherTech. Cracked the window slightly and I got wind noise but of course I'm running 75mph.

I still don't get squeaks or cracks when operating all 4 windows.

I'm on the fence whether I should keep it or not because I still like the JDM visors over this but I'm too cheap to shell out $500.

Tiggerr, go with the JDM visors. You will only be sorry temporarily I felt the same way you did about the price. Once they were on, I had no regrets.

I agree with the JDM visors, they look much sleeker. Nothing against your choice Tiggerr. The price though just went up again $560 when i inquired ouch!

This is the JDM visors from my IS taken about 2 yrs ago

$560 for visor!?! That's ridiculous! They do look nice but not for that much money. I like cracking the window open when it rains so I'll have to look for less expensive alternatives.

Tiggerr do you have long shots of the whole car with the visors?

Okay, after much contemplation I've decided to take off the WeatherTech and will be returning it. I will just have to wait until Anita gets sick and tired of her JDM visors and sell it to me cheappppp! LOL

I agree, I'm cheap for $560 visor. With $560, i will have side molding, mud guards weathertech Visor, tint all windows. How about that
