djkidkris, Thanks for posting these pics! I also purchased Xtreme HID kit from XenonDepot but with the 5000K bulbs to replace my stock fogs. Since I am jumping to 5000K, I also purchased 5000k D4S bulbs for my stock HID headlights. I will post up some pics once the install is completed.

Hey everyone, I received my HID kit for my fogs today, as well as my D4S bulbs to upgrade my setup to 5000k. Due to my work schedule, there was no way I was going to be able to install these things on my own. That said, I did a Yelp search to see if there were any well reviewed installers/shops in my area. To my surprise, a local shop came up that actually sold and installed high quality HID kits. I dug a little bit deeper into the business by reading reviews and looking at the pictures posted. This place had over 1,700 pics posted (kind of unreal for a business on Yelp). At any rate, I decided to give this place a chance. The owner of the place (John), was very helpful. He educated me on the different kits, and differences of each manufacturer as well as bulb color, and what to look for down the road. The actual shop had a very nice setup to showcase ALL of the differences. I decided to purchase an H11 - 6000K kit for my fogs, and a pair of D4S bulbs. One would think that matching the fogs at 6000K would be a no brainer, but HID's on a projector lens vs. fog light housing will show quite a bit of color variance. That was apparent when I installed 8000K in the fogs initially, and 6000K on my headlights. In order to compensate for the variance, I went with 8000K on my D4S bulbs, and 6000K on my fogs.

datdat, I have my receipt in front of me right now. $165 for the D4S 8000K Bulbs, $155 for the H11 Kit, and $45 for installation. They did an excellent job. After looking at all the high end cars they work on at that place, I felt comfortable bringing my Lexus there.
