Default Chrome door handles

I'm thinking about adding chrome door handles and wanted to know your opinion. Are they ugly or will it enhance the cars looks.

Those wont fit the 2010 RX. I used to think they would look good when I was driving the 2nd gen RX, but on the 3rd gen, there is definitely enough chrome as in with the door sill and the window trim.

Perhaps someone can photoshop some on

I voted no, but if you get them (or some designed for the RX, not the ones in the link) please post a picture. When I was car shopping there were a few cars with the chrome handles and I liked the look ... just not sure about the RX.

Will it effect the lock/unlock touch sensor on the handles? I like to have them just hesitate if it will effect the sensor?

Good question, sweet. I actually saw a starfire pearl RX with them on yesterday. It wasn't offensive. I wouldn't do it myself though. There's enough chrome on already.

hahah, I will put on my car if it doesn't affect the sensors. Almost ready to buy these long time ago if the car doesn't have that feature.

P.S: My other 2 cars already have them on

No. Too much bling cheapens the look.

I agree. Not a fan of add on bits and pieces. The RX looks best with the "less is more" look. Clean and understated is the way to go.

So I'm guessing no one got some? I found some from a manufacturer called SES chrome but they are like $89.

it doesn't affect the sensors in the doors at all. i looked at an RX at the dealer that had some chrome door handle covers and everything was working perfectly.

I think they look darn good on the RX. I might consider it if my other half doesn't veto them.

I do too, I feel it should have been like this from factory. The Infiniti FX line has them.

The Lexus GX460 and LX570 also have them too.
