Default Rx350 awd msrp $56k?

So I'm getting a few price quotes for a '11 RX350 AWD with comfort/premium pkg, Navi, wood trim and I get an email from a fleet manager at a southern California dealer quoting me as follows:

Here is the specs for the 2011 RX 350 AWD with the following equipment......
>>
>>CP - COMFORT PACKAGE
>>EK -12 SPEAKER PREMIUM AUDIO
>>FT - 19" ALLOY
>>HL - BI - XENON
>>NV - NAVI
>>PA - PARK ASSIST
>>PM - PREMIUM PACKAGE
>>TO - TOW PREP PACKAGE
>>WU - WOOD / LEATHER STEERING WHEEL
>>3T - CROSS BARS
>>
>>MSRP of $56,104
>>Fleet selling price of $53,502 (includes dest) plus fees (ttl)
I reply back thinking they've got it confused with a hybrid price and I get this response:

To confirm, RX 350 AWD ....not hybrid
Did the MSRP go up by $7K from May into June? Doesn't seem to make sense since May was THE worse month for lexus sales in quite some time. With Toyota production hoping to return to 90% of normal this month, the increase in MSRP is also not expected.

I've emailed lexus corporate, but has anyone else heard this? With that MSRP, that encroaches into GX territory!

You should have every option available at that price. Rear Seat Ent, ML, Adaptive Cruise, Remote Start, Glass Break, and let's not forget the Luxury Pkg. I think they are confused......

That's too much. Some guys here said they can get a 11 AWD RX350 at $35k with no options. And now extra 20K for options????. Then I definitely go with $35K and take 20K going to Las Vegas and have fun. Hahah

This should come in at 49K MSRP for the 18" wheels of the same options/packages, but with 19" wheels - less then 51 for sure.

I bought my 2011 RX350 3 months ago with the options that you mention including the 19" wheels and mine also had the factory hitch on it. The real MSRP (I am holding it in my hand) at that time was $50,454.00 here in California. I paid $46K + Tax/Lic I live in Roseville and bought it at Lexus of Roseville. Painless transaction.................. as far as new car shopping goes. I thought I read somewhere that the MSRP did increase by about a $1000.00 or so ?

Just remember, the stealership can sell it at any price, if you don't agree with the price, just walk away, and go to another place.
But MSRP @ 56,104, they better include the RSES and ML sound package.

I hope you havn't been dealing with fleetrates.com> There are many bad issues being reported about these guys and the owner/sales manager has been charged with fraud in the past. Just a heads up!

Got this in my email today from the dealership.

You were right. The quote I gave you was for the 2011 RX 450H AWD in the SMOKEY / GRAY. My mistake.
Lexus corporate reaffirmed that there have been no increases in price.

Needless to say, I won't be buying my car from a dealership that gave me the incorrect price even after my initial request for a confirmation that they were quoting an RX350 AWD.

I don't wanna publicly mention the dealer; GavinTyler you've got PM.
