Is this a special paint treatment like diamond kote or something similar? Many dealers used to try to sell you a special paint protection treatment when you purchased the vehicle. I just use a good wax and polish for our Starfire Pearl RX. Unfortunately I got 2 nasty paint chips on the edge of the hood on our way back to Canada from Arizona this spring. Should of bought a hood deflector I guess.
Cheers,
Jim

Default RX pearl white

So what have you done / applied to finish ? I live in upstate NY and I have had a terible time keeping the care clean. I have waxed the car three time since new on Dec 29th and it still is tough to get the car clean. I also have the 10 stone chips on the front. Not sure if i should buy the 3M of a bug deflector.I'm new to the forum, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I went to a local detail shop and ask how much it would be to apply the same product and he gave me a price of $100. I had these type of paint sealent on my other cars before, they work great for a while, but no paint sealent will last 5 years.
Are they call Teflon based paint? I got couple chips from the front already. It's my 6 months old baby. I drive a lot ~100miles/day.

Have you or do you know anyone who has used the Langka product. No matter how well I try to do the chips they become a glob. It would be great if this actually works.

Thanks

Langka is one of the most overrated products in my book. I tried it many times long ago, and it gives least return for your efforts. There are many articles that teaches you how to take care of chips in conventional (and professional) way, and that's the only way you can say wow. Do not waste your money.

Hmmm. Some guys said Yay, some guys said Nay. So Yay or Nay just depends on their own experience. Try it yourself to "feel" the other experiences. It will work in someway.

well, we have started with my RX350 and its white pearl paint,
and what i have used was a simple product, -
one of my collegian, (sorry not a Lexus fan, - he drives Audi) fonded it online and buy few, - one for me,
it costs me totally with shipping - US$ 160 baks.
it was one bottle only, - inside 50 ml of the product,
i have spent for washing (a help) - 10 baks,
apply i have do by myself, - 20 minutes, - no polishing was applied !
after that the result - (looks in attachment)
it still over 6 months and the effects keep the same,...
even it get's dirt from the street, - after a rain all go away...
so far the question:
iS THAT A MONEY WASTING ???

because many asking - the product name on the picture...
