Making Tailight LED?
As our RX350's taillights are non-LED, I wonder if anyone has switched to LED and can share your experience?
Would it create an error message on the dash? Besides, what style of LED bulbe did you use?
Thanks

The stop light should be LEDs from factory.
The signals and reverse lights are just regular filament bulbs.
I changed my reverse lights to LEDs.
For 2010+ RX350, it does not require Can-bus (with built-in error cancellation feature).
I've changed my interior LEDs and added HID foglights and never had a error message on the dashboard.
I prefer the 5050 LEDs for the interior as they are the brightest ones from my experience.

Thanks for the post, KI-GSE21.
The stop light should LED but then according to the owner's manual, the taillight is just simply a wedge bulb which according to the diagram is a 168/191 or something similar.
I couldn't move my RX as I am having some work on it and my tail is too close to the wall to open to check the things out.
You mentioned about the 5050 LEDs, may I ask what is it? Is it a model number from say, vleds or it is a special type of LED configuration?
Thanks
