Default yakima vs Thule

I am considering getting a rooftop cargo box for my rx.

Can anyone recommend which brand to go with?

I am looking at the 16 sq. feet.

The person at REI personally like the Yakima over Thule because of the inner support/construction.

I bought a used Yakima.... good one that opens from either side and has locks and keys. I had to adjust the roof bars to fit though. It was just slightly longer mounting than the bars would go so I had to remove a spacer in the roof rack and cut off about a half inch each.

Love the Yakima BTW.... it gets a lot of use.

They both make good products. I started with Yakima many years ago and have no regrets. I like the round bars.
