Default What I would Listen for on My Next RX350

When in the future I take another RX350 for a test ride, the first thing I will check is how quiet the
road surface noise translates back into the cabin.
I very unhappy with my 2012.

I know this was disgust before and replacing the tires was mentioned as a option, but seriously on a $45,000-$55,000 vehicle, I think the road noise is pathetic.

I'm not going to throw away 4 perfectly good tires just to see if that improves the noise especially
considering cost.

I agree. Now that I've had my '14 RX350 for almost a year, I found it to be not as quiet and serene as what I thought it would be (our '04 RX rode much better). Driving over coarse asphalt is probably the worse for noise entering the cabin. Also, the suspension doesn't absorb the rough pavement & bumps as well as I like.

I'm sort of tired of Japanese vehicles (been driving one for 30 years) so I placed an order for a Mercedes C300 (never owned a MBZ before). I know the new car will be in the shop a lot more than the RX, and that's something I hope I can live with.

Edit: The RX has the most comfortable seats of any vehicle I have ever owned.

After 10k miles the RX has only been in the shop twice for routine maintenance...not a single problem.
