Benny! Glad to hear you're having fun. Saw on the news the other day a story about a few people swept off of rocks by a wave in Hawaii. Thought it might have been you

Don't worry about your 450h. DunWkg is taking good care of it. He said he was going to wash it for you. But I'd be careful, I think he plans on putting one of those stickers, you know the one he has on his, on your door

Get offline and have fun!

Yeah, I hope you're having a great time and enjoying the weather. It's great here, the rain starts Wednesday and the spring flood season along the Mississippi River is beginning two months early.

Your car is fine, oh hold on a second...rrrrrrrROAR...ROAR....screechhhhh...ehhhaw...sorry just doing a little stoplight to stoplight speed testing.
And trust me your leather is fine. I grabbed a bottle of bleach by accident to clean off the pizza stains, but I'm sure they can get the black color back.
Don't worry about the scratches on the door from when the brush car wash ripping the sticker off, they'll buff out just fine.
And you said you didn't want those roof rails anymore. The kid doing car surfing kinda yanked one of them off. It's missing on the passenger's side you'll never notice it from the driver's side. And the moon roof....well you'll see when you get back...

Enjoy your trip.....everything is fine here.....rrrrrROAR....screech....eeehaaw

Benny, David shared a few pictures of his trip in your 450h. Snow melt was pretty bad and he took a few short cuts. It's not pretty, I warn you. I'm speechless

Cracking up here. It was only a matter of time before someone displayed their photo shop talents

Hilarious photoshop pic. Must be a FWD though, as an AWD would be able to get through that puddle.

We had a couple of nice days, so I washed, polished and waxed the RX. Those days were quickly followed with more snow. Then Saturday I took a 200 mile trip and on the way home must have followed every DOT brine truck from central Iowa to eastern Iowa. So I find it surprising ice could even stick to the car, but this is the car this morning.

David, your 450h is nice and sparkly. The ice and brine adds a little something special to the paint It's nothing a good chisel can't handle for you. Chip away

I've been out of the game for a while, no snow for two weeks. I'm sure I'll find something funny to post soon.

My car had two clean days and is now back to dirty! Not splashed with mud dirty, but salty dirty.

How I missed that I do not know.

Great photo, I don't know how you dried out my RX 450h so well. Good job.

Benny, you see DunWkg did a fantastic job taking care of your 450h while you were on vacation

Don't worry, I had a Metamucil moment myself in my earlier post. The last snow storm was several days ago. A week without snow feels like a month I took a few pictures on the way to work. Didn't help it was President's Day. Schools were closed and most people were off. Clearing the roads is not a priority. I lucked out though for the most part. It's hard to tell in the first picture I'm about to go down a hill with some fun turns and the other is right before I'm about to go up a short but steep incline. It's nearly impossible to make it when it's bad. Most the snow is gone now. I didn't think I'd say this but I am glad it's just about over.

Anita, if you're gasping you can take a breath now.

It's washed and it's all better...
