2010 RX 350 Front License Plate Holder? -FIXED!
After going through the car wash several times now in my 2010 RX 350, my front license plate has been bent in all different directions. Car wash guys say it's due to not having a full plate holder, where as 4 screws secure the plate vs. only the top 2 as we have. Anyone have an idea as to a plate holder from another vehicle that I might adapt to overcome this?
Thanks!
Thanks!

No, I don't play soccer!
I noticed a dealer near me tapes the plates to the bumper to hold them in place before washing. I'd add a metal frame like Joeb427 said to keep the edges from bending. And replacement plates from DMV are cheap. Good luck.

What about the rear plate? Any problems there also? Mine is only mounted with 2 screws because there are only 2 mounting holes in the 450h. As far as the front, we don't have them in PA.

Anita, I like to hand wash mine also. However, there are those times I just get lazy!!!
By the way, I was on LI near JFK and in North Jersey over the weekend. How do you survive with all of that traffic?? Many white knucle hours of driving!!!!!!

i brought this up with dealer 4-5 months ago and asked them to drill 2 addl holes which they said its only plastic behind where the holes would have gone.
Still working on it though--and I take our cars to a hand wash place nearby--I buy 50 washes that I can use on both cars and get a nice discount. Less scratching of paint job and wipe down etc. They do a great job on the wheels.

What's this mean: "i brought this up with dealer 4-5 months ago and asked them to drill 2 addl holes which they said its only plastic behind where the holes would have gone." They have no little bolts???
(AutoZone has plastic sets that do not rust that are made for cars . Drill the little holes yourself and save the charge from a highly trained mechanic who has better things to do with his big, fancy tools.)
