THe sunglass holder is a huge oversight. Models produced during Feb 2009 and Aug 2009 had the sunglass holder until they decided to put the lexus SOS button there. unforgivable design flaw
Lucky us.

Since Canada does not have (or need?) the SOS button, a sunglasses holder is substituted instead.

My sunglasses wouldn't fit in the holder anyway, so no worries.

Thanks Joeb. I ended up purchasing a RX450h last night. As you know it comes with the 19" tires. I liked the wheels better as well. I also put the ride up there just right below the looks. It was close, but ended up doing the green thing.

Now trying to figure out what I bought...lol That Nav thing is pretty cumbersome for an old guy. (-:

thanks,

Nice!
Congrats from one old guy(57 going on 27) to another.
19" Michelin Latitudes are said to be nice riding tires.

Lol... well......27 and soon to go on Medicare...lol

I like the Michelins better, however and dag gone it, this one has the Bridgestone Dueler H/L 400. It rides well. Of course my wife took it from me already so I'll have to wait to give my true opinion. (If I get it back)

Really like the looks of the RX with the split spoke wheels. Dealer was going to charge me 2500 to put them on the RX350. That being one of the reasons to go on with the Hybrid Drive.

The split spoke wheels are very nice.

I see in your signature you had a '71 Vette.
I just sold my '69 a couple of years ago.

Actually there was several guys I went to school with and we just did Rallys. We belonged to a National Corvette Club a few years back, but kind of gave it up over the years. Guy came up from Tenn and offered me premium $$ so had to take it even though it hurt. I only put about 2K miles on it in the last 10 years I had it. Red/black with hardtop convertible/454. Looked like show room condition. 69 was a good year too. I still like Vetts, but go more for luxury now. (Trying to slow down)lol
Yours looks really sharp. Really nice color too. WOW!!

take care..

Wow!
Big Block 'vert.
Very nice!
After all the years,I just got tired of the car show and cruise night thing.I was too paronoid just to take it for a ride.
Same here on my sale.I was thinking about selling but could never pull the trigger.I was at a show and got an offer I couldn't refuse.
I thought I'd miss her but enjoyed having may garage back and not dealing with the OCD over it.I actually was relieved.

Congrats on your new ride. I got one of the very 1st 2010 450h models. It was a May build. You'll love it. I have about 11000 on mine now and every mile has been with a smile. A recent run about 10 days ago netted me between 33 and 34 MPG running at posted speed limits. You can see the post in the 450h forum.

There is a lot going on in that car when you drive it. Take your time and get to know it, then you'll really enjoy it.

Hey thanks Cruiter. Congrats on yours as well and it sounds like you're still enjoying it. Good information about your MPG. I would be happy anywhere near those numbers for MPH. We almost got one last year when they first came out as well. They only had a few on hand at the time we were in the mood, but didn't have the color we wanted. So we kept our 4Runner until now.

That was my words too last evening when we picked it up. Too much going on to try and learn while driving for sure. It's getting where we focus more on what's in the computer than what the vehicle looks like. ........Really.

It sure is good to hear that owners of the Hybrids are happy after owning them for awhile.
