Default Lost Bluetooth - just like that!

Hi,
New to the forum. Please pardon my ignorance. My RX 2010 is 3 months old. Love it. Runs great. I paired my Verizon RAZR, and it worked flawlessly, until 3 days ago. All out of the blue, it would not pair. So, I tried some trouble shooting. Nothing has worked. The phone will not recognize the RX bluetooth signal. And yes, I know how to pair phones, I know the code (1212), etc. This is what I have done so far - 1) Remove and replace battery on RAZR 2) Update software on phone 3) Remove Car connection from phone, and tried to establish new connection - and this is where the phone keeps searching, but cannot locate RX's signal (meanwhile RX is in connecting mode). On the RX I have done the following 1) Keep old settings, and try to locate phone 2) Remove old connection, and try to establish new connection.

Please assist. I am sure there is something very silly that I am missing. Or, I hope so. Thanks,

With my old phone sometimes the bluetooth would get hungup. I restarted the phone and reconnected and it worked fine, or just turned off the bluetooth and turned it back on.

Thanks for the quick response. I have tried that. I turned off BT on phone, and turned it back on. I even removed the battery and restarted phone. Problem is, when phone is in search mode, it does not recognize RX's signal.

Do you have another phone to try? You may try to pair another one and see if it's working.

In some rare situation, the BT module on the car might be damaged.
