I have the 19" rims. Tire pressure is the first thing I checked--it is as it should be.
Ah thats sad , I have 18s, so I will check, seems as if the old lexus was a Luxury car and this one is a plain truck. I do hear a bit of rattle from the back as well haven't looked in to it yet...

My mom's RX350's steering wheel mounted volume controls don't work every other day till the car is restarted. She is having this looked at during her next service. She is almost to 20k miles in 6 months.

I will look for that setting and make the change, thanks

So I changed all the tires to 32-33 and the ride did get a bit better, but I think eather the suspension here just not as it was on the 2004 RX330 or the bridgestone tires are rough. Not too happy

I have the Michelin tires and they are also rough. I think it's the suspension.

Is there anyway to "tune" the suspension so the vehicle doesn't ride so rough? I don't mind feeling all the bumps as much as all the rattling that I hear (mostly in the back) because of it.

I think my view of the RX350 is different from others. This is a SUV. Its not a car or a sedan. Its not suppose to be that comfortable!

Now I drive a MX-5 (miata) all the time. Talk about riding rough and noisy!

I would disagree, my 04 RX was nice and smooth and drove like a car

Within the first 3,000 miles I have had the following problems

VSC Light comes on intermittenly...I had big issues with this in my prior Toyota $$$
Visor vanity lights didn't work
NAV Stereo system would go into "seek" mode all on its own
Radio would shut off all on it's own
Interior trim around drivers door came out from under the black door seal
Very noisy engine..I believe it's the valve train

I'm not impressed.
This is my 5th Toyota (3)/Lexus (2) product I have purchased new, and so far the most troublesome.

Few issues.
Rattle from back seat and tonneau cover took two visits to correct seat rattle. Tonneau cover still rattles.
Alignment was off, original dealer couldn't fix it after two visits. Second dealer corrected first dealers mistakes.
Driver mirror loose when extended, since replaced.
Front bumper and fender seam is inconsistent, will have them adjust soon.

Honestly I love my rx. I've been to tmmc and seen the gen2 rx's being built in person. I expected better quality than this. Plus I had a horrible service experience from the dealership I bought it from. I've since taken my business elsewhere.

I've tried every combination of felt and foam strips on the tonneau cover. It helps, but the noise will never completely go away. I've since removed it.

I've been at the dealer twice for the rattles from the back seat/cargo area. Each time, they told me it's within spec. For those who had the back seat rattle fixed, I'm curious to hear what they did to fix it.

In spec is total bs. Its a lexus. They don't spend all that time to block out the road noise so we can hear the back seats rattle. I told the service guy and his boss that I don't buy off on that. Mines ended up being a loose seat track. They added felt and remounted the seats. Much better so far but that tonneau cover sucks.

I like how quiet the rx is b ut it just makes all thbose other noises inside louder. Drives me crazy.
