No, I don't play soccer!
DrPayne, welcome to CL and congrats on the 350. You'll enjoy driving it in the snow. And post some pics when you have a chance. They're mandatory around here

New Lexus owner...
Greetings All,
Joined this site about a week ago when my wife and I purchased our new "used" 2010 RX 350. This is our first Lexus (and/or Toyota for that matter) after being longtime Nissan owners. The RX is replacing my Wife's 14yr old (2001) Altima that's done us very well since we bought it brand new. I also currently have a 2002 Maxima (bought used) which has been my personal ride (it's a 6 speed which the wife cannot drive ;-)). I expect to be replacing it in the next year or two with a newer ES350.
As you can tell by the age of our previous vehicles, we tend to drive them into the ground. Hence our decision in going for the Lexus. From the research I've done, these have been highly rated for reliability, longevity, therefore quality and safety for many years. So we've made the decision to go ahead and buy this vehicle. It was also time to replace one of the old cars with something newer.
On a side note, She was looking at the SantaFe initially but I was able to steer her away!
Anyways glad to be here and looking forward to some reading. I'm a big DIY're with my vehicles so I'm hoping to find lots of tips and tricks on servicing the RX. My specs are below.
Cheers,
Todd.
1. Used 2010 RX 350 with 105k km (~60k miles)
2. No navigation.
3. Colour Exterior - Mica Grey, Interior - Black
4. Premium 2 package installed.
5. Non-Sport. 18" Rims. Michelin Latitude All-seasons. Just purchased a set of Nokian Hakkapeliitta R2 SUV winters with alloy rims. I am Canadian and live in Ottawa, Ontario so winters are a must IMHO.
