Prestigious Society Nav Overide Rx350 2010 - Anybody Tried/Installed This?

Hi Picker, that looked like a bear to do. Was it pretty straight forward? Was it difficult to get the switch under the steering wheel? It looks great! I'm not exactly a DIY guy so I am worried it may be beyond my limited skill set :P

PS Over Ride A Great Value
The PS over ride kit is as all these post say: perfect. 1 hour to install (go professional unless you are good at taking apart dash and consol).
it makes the Lexus phone and nav system usable, finally, and applies common sense where Lexus didnt: speed dials, destinations, etc. Well worth the $$ to avoid the frustration of not being able to use your $3000 option.
Now of they could just make one that lights up the panels and switches at night......

if you are always in manual mode, you will not be able to use your navi; the PS kit tricks the navi to think that your car is stationary, hence allowing the override that allows you to input telephone numbers or address while driving. that's why it's important to turn off the override once you've finished inputting (unless you don't care that your navi will be totally off).
correct, install is strictly plug and play, and it involves taking the surrounding dash and console components apart, like for a radio install. imho, i would only attempt this is if you are comfortable taking your car apart and doing things like this. if not, leave it to the professionals to do (which is approx. 1 hr of labour for the install)

I have spent the last couple of days making my own bypass. It works most of the time, but when the nav does not see the normal speed sensor, I think it reverts to another source like sat info. Like mode one you describe.
My mod is a DPDT switch and a resistor.

10mm bolts holding the radio on each side are high up through a hole:
once the radio is out, you can see the silver nav system below it:
one must remove one plug to get to the lower plug that will get the splice, so I tied a string to both so I didn't loose them behind the nav:
and stuck the controller on the largest flat surface I could find:
and put the switch under the steering wheel:
but it looks good, and works great!

I saw your message about the nav override, but I have the different problem. Yours is to install the navi override, but mine is to install the parking sensors' buzzer which is located behind the stereo and you can see it on the pictures you posted(the blue small stuff), so may know how to remove the stereo from you? I know there are two main 10mm bolts on each side and i already pick up them, but I still cannot take off the stereo, I and my friends had tried to remove it for about 2 hours, but the stereo just came out a little bit, eventually, we are scared to damage the stereo, so in order to save the stereo we stop it and put it back into the dash. Is there any other bults or something still hold the stereo? or just we do not have enough power to pick out? waiting for your respond.
Thank you

Why has no one figured out how to do this without paying 300.00?
I have a 2006 IS350 with ML NAV. I cut two wires and attached them to a rocker switch http://www.oznium.com/gsw-45 for 10 bucks. Fits in a blank perfectly on the dash. Grounded one wire (fooled the parking brake) for DVD in motion. I now have EXACTLY the same functions as this system when I flip the switch...FULL access. DVD in motion ALWAYS works.
Total cost 15.00 and took about 45 minutes start to finish. I still had 1/3 of my beer left and it was still cold. Got me another cold beer and watched a DVD in the driveway.
