XM Radio Display - Not showing entire song name?

When I had my old XM unit in my RX300 (one of those portable units), it also wouldn't show the entire song nor artist (if the artist and/or song name was too long).

Had 3 cars in the last 3 years with XM... Lexus, Infiniti and Acura. None of them showed the full name. Funny thing is that the portable ones do. Don't ask me why but I think the fact it doesn't is asinine.

XM tech support had no clue...
i did a quick google and perhaps XM broadcasts only will support 16 characters (as opposed to Sirius), unless one has their dedicated receiver? Hardly seems logical. Will ask at Lexus dealership later this week.
