Default Can I keep audio info on the screen for more than 20 seconds?

Is there a way to keep iPod/Sat radio/CD info on the nav screen for more than ~20 seconds?

Even if I go to the Menu and click on Audio, the vehicle switches back to the nav screen after a bit and the only way I can see what is playing is when I change a song and the little info pane drops down from the top of the screen for a few seconds.

Is this just a shortcoming of the system? Seems like quite an oversight compared to the engineering on the rest of the vehicle.

you can re-check the manual, but I think you have to turn "off" the "auto display change" in the nav settings. But I think this just prevents it from changing back to the map at all.

Thanks guys- it's on the first page of options. Too bad you can't keep the map up and have that little bar on the top remain there.

Got the car to read music from a USB drive, but after working for 1 car trip yesterday, cannot get it to see the my iPhone today (bluetooth works, but not music via USB). Dunno why it would work yesterday and not today Tried multiple cables....

Same thing happened yesterday to me. When I got home I figured it out. You have to go into the settings in Nav for audio and fix it then go into the settings in your ipod and do the same. I had been listening to it on B/T and when I restarted the car it showed 'connected' but wasn't playing through the system. I plugged in the USB and it was fine. It's just getting the settings on both right at the same time. And one way it's a one time thing, another way it's more permanent. This doesn't make any sense, but that's what happened.

Sometimes it helps to restart the iPhone. If that doesn't work I normally pair the phone with the car again.

Default Audio Screen

It's in the "Navigation System Owner's Manual" on page 316.
