Thank you
Lexus of Pembroke Pines. 16150 Pines Blvd. Pembroke Fl. (Near Ft. Lauderdale) You want to talk to Yucel. Very nice and professional person.
My deal was 39526 on a MSRP 42522 car. You can tell him the couple from
Baton Rouge recommended him. Good luck.

Is that NY tax or NJ? I think its a big difference. And what was the MSRP? Name of the Sale? better yet the number?

Not sure I understand your tax question. In most cases if you buy a car out of state you pay no sales tax until you register the car in your state and pay your state tax. In my case the local tax here (La.) is 9%. When I bought the car in Florida they took out 4% and when I registered the car here they took
out the remaining 5%. Florida and La. have a reciprocal agreement. As for NY and NJ they probably have an agreement
on how to handle the tax. Check with your local DMV as I did.
The msrp was@44500 and they came down to 40500. Don't remember the saleman name. Ray Catena of Monmonth NJ, you can look up their number.

44500 plus TTL. Maybe the confusion is that the car in NJ was a nav car
with comfort package and the Florida car was non nav, no comfort pkg
for msrp of 42522 plus TTL.

I wonder how much it would cost without Nav, only premium package. (I thought the comfort package is all built-in)

When I was shopping around in April, a few dealers here told me RX10 without Nav was one of the most popular choices. Lots of customers want to get that type of car and drive away.

Although customers are asking, dealers don't have too many of this. Many customers just took whatever dealers have (without Navi).

I ever saw
Premium
Prem + Navi
Prem + Navi + Comf

But, I never heard Prem + Sport without Navi.

Urrr... I should say any discount more than 3K is pretty good. IMO.

MSRP was $43K. the price i got it for was less than edmund's TMV price. now i'm worried about the road/engine noises posted in the other threads! some people have problems & say it's very noisy & are unhappy; while others say they hardly hear the engine and are very happy with the quietness. i hope i fall into the "2nd" category! lol

So, almost 4k difference, the price is great.

Btw, I'm the one complaining the loud engine noise in climbing uphills at low RPM. Well, everyone has their own sense and standard, it's hard to really imagine how noise other ppl are talking about. For example, unless you and I test-drive the same vehicle, it's not easy to judge this type of issue.

Also, I wasn't quite happy with RX's "noise", but I'm ok with the noise/sound Cayenne GTS has produced... perhaps, it's 'cause Lexus is supposed to make the quietness on their cars, and Porsche is supposed to be loud!?
