NO, that cannot be done on a Lexus; on my former Cadillac and my GTO it CAN be done!!
Going back to the screen shot posted in the original post, on my 2013 RX I have an UPDATE button to the left of the CLEAR button. When pressed, it starts a new bar that keeps track of fule consumption from that point on.

Hmmm...maybe my 2013 450h is different. Mine only gives a single MPG number. Never bothered to reset it but I know it's showing a different number than the "average fuel consumption after refueling".
