Cool Got my Rex AeroTect'ed

We got it AeroTect today. Thanks again to Francisco for doing such an awesome job. I can barely see the clear bra. I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Here is my other post when I got the Rex: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...ire-pearl.html

^^^ I checked it out and based on my own analysis, seems to be made of glass.

did you do a full hood? to get mine done (Ventureshield) they're quoting me $300 bumper only; $860 full hood, fenders and mirrors; $250 24" hood, fenders and mirrors. Debating if I should do full hood or 24" hood.

These are Canadian prices by the way.

Way to go.... I guess the clear-bra would do the good jobs.

Has anyone here done a clear bra on a darker color like smoky granite? Would the line across the hood be more visible on the darker color?

I saw a dark-color car with clear bra before. I could clearly see the white line in the middle of the hood. I believe the owner probably waxed it and left some wax on the edge, which made the lines obvious.

Did it on mine as soon as I got the car. The reality is that the clear bra is noticeable no matter the color. It all depends on the angle the light is hitting the car, whether the car is dirty or clean, etc. I don't see this as any cause for concern. In my opinion, the clear bra is a very good option to have and would recommend to have it installed as soon as you take delivery of the car. You don't want to wait until you get paint chips to decide to put it on.

I have decided to install the clear bra this Friday. It will be installed on a smokey granite 450 H. It is the Clear Shield brand made by Solar Gard. If anyone has used this brand please give me your thoughts. I called two shops today and they both use this brand. I guess it is pretty cheap in this area. One shop quoted me 475 and the other one( where I got my front windows tinted) quoted me 399.00. They have a coupon for 10 percent off on their website, so I will be getting the deluxe install for 360.00. This shop has a lifetime guarantee while the other one was 5 years. I have seen others here that have been paying Lexus around 700.00 so I am happy with this price.

In the week I got my RX10, not too many stores/vendors got clear-bra for our model. My dealership wasn't doing the clear bra for a long time... I should do it since I like to travel...

I would bet that the quoted $360 is just for the hood or front bumper, not both. That is why full coverage is about $700. I would definitely go with getting everything done: front hood and fenders, front bumper, back of rearview mirrors, door edges, door handle cups.
