Strange floor mat color
I just picked up my 2010 RX today. It has parchment interior, but the floor mats are dark charcoal colored. The cargo mat matches the parchment interior. Is this what everyone is getting with parchment? Sort of strange.
Also, there are holes in the mats and floor to connect them, but no connectors. The mats don't seem to cover a lot of the area around the pedals. Is this right, or was I given the wrong mats?

there should be hooks on the actual ground that hook into the holes. i am speaking from previous generation lexus vehicles, and not the 2010 model, but i would think its the same.
as for the charcoal floormats, lexus didnt use to do this. but customers were saying that the mats got dirty too easily so a darker color hides it better.

Yeah it seems strange they would put those black floor mats in cause they do look out of place and ugly, the mats should be the same colour as the floor and leather.

My interior is identical to picker's interior. It doesn't bother me because it still matches with the black interior on the door panels and dash board. IMHO it's a smart move considering lighter colored carpets will get dirty fast.

With the parchment interior, I don't understand why Lexus is using those black mats. With the gray or black interior it looks ok, but not with parchment. I'm going to order the parchment premium mats after the fact.

I got the same explanation from Lexus about light color mats getting dirty too easilly. I got the all weather mats, but found the darker mats that came with the car to be ugly in an ivory interior.
