Thank you! I was only looking for someone to confirm what I suspected - the base RX350 has cloth seats, but it doesn't really exist. All vehicle have the "premium" package.

A couple of the first ones that we saw up here had the cloth seats. While it is not something that we would buy, imho, they didn't look or feel too bad. I'll let you know if the dealer has actually been able to sell them.

I can't speak for the 3rd Gen, but I have a 2nd Gen which I had to have custom built in Japan, as it's exactly what I wanted in my Lexus. The seats are beautiful, last longer, and were definitely worth the work, but there was nothing easy about getting them. The vast majority of dealers want turnover with preconfigured designs, and just finding a dealership willing to do this was a major ordeal and I had to travel to another city to pick up my car when it was delivered. Not a single dealer I've been to has seen another one like mine. As for other comments about packages, sun roofs require maintenance and can leak, which is a big deal where I live (N Central FL) where we have rain more days than days we don't. I just always keep my eyes peeled to see if anyone else ever had success, but so far haven't seen another one in the USA, as ours all come fairly preconfigured from Canada.
