Where is the coin Holder? and where does this $26 Ashtray Cup Fit?
As crazy as it seems with all the places for storage there is no place for spare change.(unless you want to put it in the center console where the phone is suppose to go). The $26 ash tray (I do not Smoke) might work for a coin holder but there is no place to put it unless you jam it in the cup holder and then can never close the door. i could not see any place in the manual for the ash tray. I know these are minor things but every time you go though the drive-thru you will be reminded of it. I am buying a small coin holder from Ace hardware online and will velcro it to the storage bin in the center console area. Any other ideas out there??? The RX is one great vehicle from all the new design work that went into it and maybe this just slid by the designers.

When I visited the dealership and had the salesman show me the RX 350, there was a coin holder IIRC in the center armrest compartment area...but you mention the center console phone area...in this pic the coin holder would be ahead of where the stack of 'CDs' are, but not shown there.
On other Lexus models the coin holder is to the left of the steering wheel, but on the RX 350 there is now a single pull-out cupholder there.

They could have easily put one in the big storage area in the center console with velcro attaching it to the side which is what I plan to do with a aftermarket one,
