Hmm, first post, been wandering this forum a while though. My purchase was made at Stevinson Lexus of Frederick Colorado. This is my families 12th Lexus purchase, but first in Colorado.
Just placed the deposit on the purchase of my 2010 RX350 AWD. MSRP $47963 paid $45563 ($2400 off), no trade in. Vehicle has the Heads up Display and will be delivered April 1st or so. Starfire Pearl with Gray interior. I had to be a bit of a tough customer to get the discount and walk away with the HUD, especially since I initially had them set for trading my 2004 RX330 and then sold it to a co-worker. Also I didn't really want the HUD so much as the car that had the minimum of all the features I had to have and was also allocated to them came with the HUD, and it seemed cool enough that MSRP on it wasn't going to push me away.
Upgraded features were the HUD, Navigation, 19" Alloy wheels, "Premium Package", Tow Prep package, Leather trimmed steering wheel/shift, glass breakage sensors, remote start, wheel locks and cross bars for the rack.
I am curious what people are paying for the dealer priced options though, so anyone else with their invoice and dealer priced things should chime in.
On my spec sheet I have:
Glass Breakage Sensors - $205
Remote Engine Start - $375
Wheel Locks - $81
Cross Bars - $259

Those are the same price for options listed on my vehicle . My price was the same with or without a trade-in. The dealer did not care one way or the other if I wanted to sell my LX470 outright or trade it in. I do like the Heads -up and use it all the time and never look at the speedometer. I am still getting used to all that huge dash space in the front and the fact that I cannot see the hood and front of the car the way I could with the LX. It will take some time but the ride is smooth and very quiet. A trip next week for 700 miles will tell a better story about all the toys on the car but the voice command is leap years ahead of my 03. It actually understands you and will call your phone numbers by saying the persons names with the tag function. That is very cool and keeps your attention on the road.

hi guys CL MEMBERS,
it seems that most of you have very high buying experience at the dealerships, and i was wondering since i'm in the market for a 06 rx330 or 07 rx350, i was wondering if there's something i ahve to look for so i don't get riped off from the dealerships.
I understand that there are fees but what are the most common fees for buying a CPO lexus rx and what fees should i lookout for that are just bs fees/charges. thansk!

There aren't many "fees" involved in buying a used car from a Lexus dealership. If the car is CPO, then it has already been serviced and brought up to CPO specs, and that is part of the purchase price set for the vehicle. A CPO car will cost more than one that is not CPO, but comes with a very comprehensive Lexus 3 year warranty.
When buying a used car from a private party is when you have to be careful.

I was at the Stevens Creek Lexus yesterday looking for an RX350. We were able to get the price down to $40,105 for a 2010 with navigation, fwd without the comfort package. Invoice on it was $38,745. We went to Fremont Lexus later and they said they could not come near that price. Seems like a good deal no?
What are some prices that other people have been getting?

What other options does it have? Just Nav? If so, then the invoice is only $34804...

Test drove
Finally test drove the 2010 RX. Very impressed. I will need to test drive again as the drive was short and traffic was bad which did not allow me to do everything I wanted. Oh no a reason to go back! (snicker)....
One thing: I immediately began to use the natural voice system and I think I even impressed the salesman. However at one point I said weather and went through the prompts, but halfway through listening to the report I wanted the traffic. So I then double clicked the button and said traffic and gave my location when asked. When it began to speak again it was still the weather report. Any ideas? Happen to anyone else?

Don't forget to play the internet negotiating game when buying. Email one dealer stating, another dealer just offered me this vehicle for X price. Then when they counter, go to the next dealer and repeat the process. They will be bidding against each other.

Similar to our deal here in MA. $3000 off MSRP (which was about $47.5)
