And actually, considering that this looks like it was a pretty big impact, the passenger cage remained intact and not crushed much if at all.

Indeed provides a bit of driving comfort. It would be interesting to know the details, cost of repairs, and if the owner would buy the same vehicle again after knowing the results of this accident.

Default Oh the humanity!

One of the major reasons I purchased the RX-330 AWD is because of its safety rating and safety features. We were involved in a major accident about 3 1/2 years ago where we were broadsided in our 1999 Toyota Sienna by an 18 wheeler, which was traveling at about 70 miles per hour. If it was not for the wonderful engineers at Toyota, my family and I wouldn't be here and would never had a chance to purchase a Lexus. Hopefully no one in involved in the collision you were involved in were injured. I'm also happy to see that your knee bag deployed as advertised. That was one of the selling points due to my wife's injury. Now go on and get your RX back on the road where it belongs.

I don't see any side bag deployment but maybe they did not deploy as the collision inertia does not appear to be from the side??

Nice knee bag, I didn't know it had that.
