Will RX be next w/ 3rd row seat?
Now that Toyota has confirmed the new Highland will offer 3-row 7-passenger seating in their 3.3L V6 edition, will RX be next? I personally don't think the current RX330 has the room in the back to get a 3rd row in unless they stretch the body longer. Not sure whether they stretched the Highlander longer to accommodate the 3rd seat. Any thoughts?

3rd Row
I personally hope that they don't ever put a third row seat in the RX. I would like to see Lexus continue the RX as their sportier, car-based luxury alternative and not stretch the body to accommodate a kids-only third row. It would just add weight and make it more difficult to improve the performance and handling of the vehicle. Lexus already has the GX and LX for larger families who need the extra seating capacity, and there are also several car-based SUV alternatives available such as the Highlander, the MDX and the Pilot, to name a few. Just my opinion -
