RX330 w/RSES - audio level "low" on DVD playback through the stereo?
We're coming up on our 1,000 mi service appt, and want to know if anyone else out there has seen (heard?) this issue before:
When you're playing a DVD movie in the RSES, and you've hit the DISK button (selecting the AUX/DVD input) on the stereo system (we have the stock system, not the ML), we really need to crank up the volume to get to a reasonable audio level in the car. If you switch back over to the 6-disk CD changer by hitting the DISK button one more time, the audio level is way too loud.
Is there anything you think the dealer can adjust to bring up the relative AUX/DVD level on the main system, or is it just different by design (RSES vs. stereo system AUX input), and something to learn to live with?
Otherwise, we've had very little to complain about on the 1,000 mi checkup. The only other item is that twice on a long roadtrip the air suspension system OFF indicator blinked a while indicating the system was offline. It came back up fine since then. We'll have that checked too.
Thanks !

Works exactly the same on mine. You have to be really careful that the kids don't turn off the DVD player before you lower the volume or you'll get blasted. I wasn't planning on complaining--just figured it was a design issue. Let me know if there is anything you can do about it.

Mentioned the problem at the dealership today when my RX was in for 5000 mile service. They said they had heard about it, but that they didn't think there was a fix...yet. Said they would pass it along to Lexus.
