Got the DVD playing while on the move!!!!
Just wanted to post another thread to let everyone know that
audioXTC has got my DVD up and running while on the move!! (ML with DVD)
I knew it could be done. The Nav works great, while the dvd is playing. All you need to do is hit input or map (If you have the ML and DVD combo) and the Nav is up and running( it continues to run behind the DVD playing). Plus the nav girl talks you to your destination while the DVD is up and running. Nothing is affect by having the bypass!!
AWESOME!!!
Here is the email of the guy that did it for me

Congrats! Great work. You have to love the pioneers. I have a couple questions. I take delivery of my RX330 on Friday with the navigation and performance package. I do not have the ML.
1) Can you put a Movie DVD into the navigation and have it play while the car is stationary? Where does the DVD go? Is there a slot in the dash board?
2) I assume that you were able to get the DVD to play while you are in motion? Did you need to add any specific hardware or do "major modifications" to the car in order to make that adjustment?
3) Does this only work on a ML Navigation car?
4) Were you abel to modify the navigation so a passenger could input information and make chnages while in motion?
5) What did this cost, how long did it take, etc?
Thanks in advance. Bob

1. - I have the DVD rear entertainment that came with the car
2. The kit that audioxtc has is what did the trick
3. yes
4. no - you can access the DVD menu while in motion but you still cannot input address on the move into the nave
5. It only took a couple of hours - looks great -
email audioXTC for more details -
thanks
