Default Bought a rx 330 today!

Pulled the trigger an a silver AWD with performance package today. The car is outstanding. No vibrations or rattles of any kind! After driving a 2001 Denali the RX handles like a sports car. I bought the car from Chad at Crown Lexus in Ontario Ca. They are 60 miles from my house ,but the smoking deal that Chad gave me, more than made it worth the drive! If the computer is correct, 24.9 on the way home, this car manufacturers gasoline. My Denali averaged about 10 miles to the gallon. Buying this car was an enjoyable experience. The RX looks great sitting in the garage next to my wife's GS 430. I would have trouble buying any other brand of vehicle after owning a Lexus. Now, I have to get off my butt and sell the Denali. Congratulations, Skip.

A 2 Lexus family! Hopefully, you'll forget all about that Denali once you've sold it.

Default 2 Lexus family

Actually, If I count my moms 1990 LS 400, we are a 3 Lexus family. My Moms car has 14,000 original miles on it and looks like a new car ! Pretty cool car for a woman that is 89 years old. Skip

Congratulations on your new car !!
BTW, did you miss a zero on your mom's car's mileage, or is it that 80 year old ladies just don't drive very far from home?

No, I didn't miss a zero. As hard as it is to believe the car only has 14,000 miles on it. It still smells like new on the inside. My mom just drives to church, about 1 mile, the hairdresser, about 2 miles and to the market and stores, about 3/4 mile. My wife has had her car for a little over 2 1/4 years and it just turned 2200 miles. The insurance cost per mile is unreal ! It would probably be cheaper to call a limo. Skip

Default great deal?

Exactly what type of deal did ya get? If you don't mind me asking? I always hear/read people say that they got a greta deal, yet they never say what their great deal was? Subjective?
TIA

It was good enough to drive 60 miles each way and by a few other Lexus dealers. I don't think it would be fair to the salesman to post his numbers on the internet. I was given a price and there was no grinding involved. The price was good enough that there was no point. Skip

Lightbulb Give up the numbers...

I'm with you Jedi. Let’s hear some numbers so that others can evaluate if such a deal would make sense for them too. In the end the only true measure of a good deal is if the buyer believes they received a good deal. As for keeping the secret then you are only protecting yourself from the possible criticism by others that it is not such a a good deal. If you really believe the dealer when he tells you that this is a "one a kind deal" that he cannot make to others then you are just fooling yourself. The dealer is in business to sell cars. Why wouldn't he want you to share your info with others?

I think the term Skip used was “smoking”…
