I just bought a 2004 RX 330, bamboo pearl w/ ivory interior. The bamboo pearl is an awesome color. It's hard to get a sense of it from pictures. Sort of a pewter cream with a hint of light metallic green when the sun hits it. Very nice, and different from all the other gold and silver SUV's on the road. If I see one more gold GM Envoy drive down the street I'm going to lose it. Color is a very personal choice, of course. To me, I don't like the look of the RX in dark colors (dark blue, black etc). It's the tail light cluster... they're big, shiny and metallic, and I personally think they clash with dark paint. Plus in Canada your car spends half the year coated in salt crust, so dark colors just look like hell in the winter. Also, in Canada the bamboo pearl is only available with the ivory interior. I was worried that it would look too beige and the bird's eye maple would be too light, but now that I'm sitting in the real thing it looks quite elegant and I'm happy with the ivory/maple. I didn't want a black interior because black leather is murder on a hot sunny day. Regarding interior heat with ivory vs. grey: while both seats are light colored, the dash on the grey is a heat-absorbing black while the dash on the ivory is cooler light greyish brown. So your car interior stays the coolest with the ivory. Ah, bamboo pearl! Scrumptious!

My wife, who normally doesn't care for silver vehicles, really likes the Silver on the Lex. The shade is different and the metallic just looks deeper and richer than on other silvers. I thought the tailights looked the best with the silver also. We liked the Bamboo, but under certain lighting conditions (overcast) thought it looked too brown, almost dull. I'll probably regret getting the light gray interior, but I'm willing to work to keep it clean. The dark interior was handsome, but it gets plenty hot in St. Louis and I just couldn't bring myself to get it. Regarding the black dash on the light gray interior, it too is handsome and striking. I put a windshield sunshade up so I'm not so concerned with heat from the dash. I liked the Flint/Gray combo also, but preferred the silver for maintenance. My last car was white/tan. I wanted something different. I prefer the darker wood on the ebony/gray interiors to the lighter wood in the tan.

Silver with black interior. It was apparently hard to find a 330 with a black interior. The dealerships only had ivory and gray. I did notice that with the ivory interior, that it tends to show a lot of staining. The car in the showroonm had the ivory and I guess a lot of people with new jeans sat in it because there were these bluish rub marks on the seat. Is that normal? I also noticed it on some of the gray interiors, which is why I was insistant on a black interior.

I use Meguiars Gold class products including the duster. I dry with the water blade. The key to keeping any New car looking new, clean, and shiny is to wash the wheel-wells and BOTH sides of your rims from day one at least once per week and you'll never have to scrub or use acid to get the brake dust off.
Take that bird "doo"
off ASAP, I use Meguiars quick detailer mist spray keep those "doo" enzymes from eating your paint.
... come trade in time, the dealer will be impressed.

Our current RX's are our 4th and 5th now. We have been through Black, Grey and Gold. But, like previously mentioned our Canadian winters are brutal for paint. This time around my mom went white on her 400h (she had an '04 RX330 AWD in Black) and I went with Silver on my 330 (drove her old Grey RX300 Coach Edition). I personally don't like silver, but the Silver on the RX almost has a hint of pewter in it, I really like it. And its super easy to keep clean 
I also think the 330's look odd in dark colors because of the tail light assembly. Just my .02 though...

Went to the dealership today with my family and the moment we all laid our eyes on the Black Forest Pearl, we fell in love. So that's the color my dad's getting. Now I just have to find a good deal on it, but it might be harder considering how rare this color is.
