I definitely agree on the California Car Duster praise - I've had one happily employed for years keeping my late-model Supra Turbo cleaned up. If you keep your car polished/waxed regularly, the duster really helps keep the car shiny between washes.

They make a smaller version of the duster for the dashboard as well. The Supra has a relatively small dash compared to the RX330, so maybe I'll be using that one a bit more often now. I think that most of the brand-name autoshop chains carry these (so does amazon.com).

While we are on this topic, I also really recommend the California Car Water Blade - it is a soft silicone based wiper blade, that does a better job drying the car after you wash it by removing the beaded water. When used properly, there is much less of a chance to scratch the car's finish than using the old chamois or a terry cloth.

A nice shampoo, polish, and wax (I use Meguiar's for all of these), plus the CC Water Blade and the CC Duster, and you should be in great show-car condition as often as you want to be. Of course, you can always pay someone to maintain your car with professional detailing, but I really enjoy spending the time to do it myself.

I have the flint mica and don't find it a real problem to keep clean, unlike the black car I used to have. Havent had to wash it alot either. I was surprised, thought it would be a pain.

At the risk of sounding boring, I am very happy with Crystal White. The metallic depth and shimmer is awesome in the sunlight and it usually looks good if I can't get to a carwash. My least favorite thing about the color is the way the black windshield looks against the ultra-cool clear tailights and crystal white color. I also liked Bamboo Pearl but couldn't get one with the options I wanted unless I "special-ordered." I love this truck!

I too, happen to like the Crystal White - it looks great sparkling in the sun, and I think the darkened windows and black rear spoiler actually make it look cool! Do you have pics of yours we can see? I am deciding now on which wheels to get on mine. Thx!

Hi, Bandit, sorry I can't post pictures, but it is crystal white with 18" standard alloy wheels (not graphite polished). Here's a link (I hope) that shows both chromed (looks great) and standard alloy 18" wheels on a silver 330.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...hlight=chromed

Maybe you can find more pics in the 330 picture gallery if you do a search.

I probably would have considered 17" wheels, although I've never driven one, but I didn't want to Special Order. Besides, my passengers prefer a stiffer ride in general. The standard alloys are fine with me. Good luck, and let us know what you decide

Thanks for the link - yeah, those chrome wheels look great and I bet they would look incredible on the Crystal White as well. I wonder if those were the originals dipped or purchased as chrome?

Neptune Mica with Ivory. We ordered our RX on Memorial Day weekend. Four months later we finally took delivery at the end of September.

I have Millenium Silver. I think this color looks best with the clear headlights and taillights. Plus it's harder to notice when it's dirty.

Default color poll

We started out really liking Black Forest Green (her pick) or Flint Mica (my pick), when it came to crunch time we opted for Bamboo Pearl. Already had too many silver cars.

I don't own a RX 330 Lexus yet (I'm shopping now), but this is a good thread for helping me decide what color to get. My first preference is for the Gold exterior, but it only comes with a light interior; and I'm concerned it might be difficult to maintain. Light leather also tends to show scuff marks easily, from my experience. I also agree with the "California Car Duster" comment above. In addition to keeping the exterior looking great, between washes, you can dust your entire interior with just a couple quick swipes.

Update: I purchased mine and I went with Millennium Silver with the black interior.
