6) Why a roof antenna? Apparently this is something new on the RX330 that a short (maybe 6 or 7 inches) antenna is mounted on the rear of the roof close to the roof rack. This design is similar to what you see on the IS300. One customer who really ripped Lexus for having this antenna in the roof has a good point because the antenna gets in the way if you put anything flat (e.g. 4x6 or 4x8 sheet) on the roof rack.

One concern we have with the new RX330 is the lights on each corner of the front and rear bumpers. Their location seems awfully easy to get damaged especially in parallel parking. Our Lexuses all exhibit scrape marks on all corners of the bumpers from inconsiderate SOBs who scrape their bumpers against ours. Fortunately we don't have lights there to get damaged. Our dealer also voiced this concern and they said those lights could be expensive to replace (nothing on Lexus is cheap to replace). Of all the places they can put those lights, why there? Is this concern with any of you?

These car companies are getting smart, put things in harms way so they get damaged and you pay big$$$$ for new parts. I would hate to think of the price of just the lense. Most people are taking out larger deductables for insurance due the high premiums so they get stuck paying out of pocket.
