Hi All
I just bought a 08 RX350 with 110k mi. Hope I'm in the right forum. My Lexus is bamboo pearl and I am aware of the problems with this paint but this one does not have 1 place that's peeling and actually it looks real nice aside from a small chip here and there. Anything you can tell me , good or bad, about this particular year I would appreciate. I know I should have asked these questions before I purchased the car but I fell in love with it. Its strong, its tight and the miles are mostly highway back and forth from Florida to Maryland.

Welcome! I am a new 208 owner myself. One thing I had an issue with right away was the "rattling" noise when driving above 50mph or so.

Turns out it was the "gas tank cover", which seems to be a common problem with this model. If you have a mysterious rattle, I'd check that first. I was able to fix mine with some heavy velcro and it was pretty easy = no more rattles.

Hey Kenny, welcome to the forum. Your '08 is pretty bulletproof with good maintenance. If you know about the BP paint you probably have noted the more common problems with the 2gen RX. If anything happens just come here and you'll get good advice to get it sorted.
