Default Costco battery?

My 84-month Toyota replacement battery died after 36 months, as the previous one had done, and I am wondering if it makes more economic sense to buy a battery at Costco or somewhere where the warranty can actually translate to some protection. The Lexus cost of battery and replacement thereof, even with a discounted value because of the warranty, ends up being more expensive than a comparable battery elsewhere, if memory serves from a previous RX 300 experience. So I thought/remembered/wondered/ if I had not read somewhere that the Costco warranty is a full replacement at no cost? Or was it somewhere else?
I will be traveling for a week but will need to address the issue immediately upon my return. Does anyone has helpful suggestions?
Thanks!

Costco and Sam's Club sell batteries in their stores.

Both have 3 year free replacement warranties. Then the price is prorated for a couple of more years.

If you replace the battery every 3 years then you essentially have a battery for life.

I use Costco batteries in everything, including tractors and generators. They don't sell the small garden tractor size but Sam's does.

I have a Costco battery installed in our 05 RX330. Full replacement at no additional cost for the first 3 years, then it gets prorated for a couple of years.

I also have a AAA battery installed in my wife Toyota Corolla. Her car would not start so we had to call AAA to the rescue and ended up buying a battery on the spot. A year and a half later we had issues with the battery so we called them, they came out to replace the battery at no cost (the technician stated that their batteries come with a 3 years free replacement).

Our local Costco store sell Interstate Batteries. One of the best batteries our there with good services and hard to beat warranty by Costco (IMHO).

Use Costco batteries in my 2 vehicles - no problems as long as the battery terminals are serviced (~2 years).

Living in FL I can't seem to get much more than 3 years out of any battery so I replace them at about that point. Under $100 to do and I'm not stranded by a dead battery anymore.

FYI:

Johnson Controls is the leading supplier of batteries to many of the largest aftermarket battery retailers, including Advance Auto Parts, DAISA S.A., AutoZone, Costco, NAPA, Interstate Batteries, Walmart and more.

Any issues, you can go to any Walmart around the country to pro-rate/replace which makes it convenient.

Costco batteries are very good. Have one in my boat going on year number 7. Purchased a LEXUS one, for the SUV, paid to much but I like the LEXUS sticker on it and needed one right away...
