When it gets stuck, does it display an error?
There have been some people reported it saying it shows Error 4 when this happens. Error 4 is disc load error IIRC. I suggest searching the forum with cd error and see what you can find. Here are links to the first couple results. I am sure there are several more threads about this if you search.
