So do you currently have a 3RX and a 2RX, or did you go back to a 2RX from a 3? And if so, was there reason why?

Congratulations Kenny, the second generation Lexus RX350 is an awesome vehicle, I love my 2007. Yours looks great, but be aware the Bamboo Pearl paint has problems. I just want you to know this. It mostly involves the mirrors and door handles and doesn't involve all vehicles of this color. I am telling you this so that you can be aware and complain if it happens to you. I understand that Lexus is aware of the Bamboo Paint problem. Here is a link to this problem:

All three of the years you mention (2004,2006, and 2008) are all 2nd gen.

There is a known paint defect on this color, the door handles, the side mirror covers and the trim above the tag. In my case all of these have been replaced under warranty. Also the door protectors fade. My car has 2 faded out trims (door protectors) and the other 2 must have been replaced sometime earlier, hence still bamboo pearl color still.

I love my Bamboo Pearl RX!

Interesting about the paint issue... I don't recall any noticeable fading; I will have to take a closer look. The car is for the wife; it was love at first sight for her and the Bamboo Pearl. She used to look at me like that, oh well...
