Default Michelin Latitude Tour or Goodyear Assurance TripleTread?

I have the Tours on another vehicle and they've been good so far. I need to replace the tires on my 04 RX. Goodyears have also been good to me over the years.
If you're using either tire and have input please let me know. Thanks.

Don't overlook the previous tire threads. Have you looked at reviews on Tire Rack, etc, as well?

I had Triple Treads installed on a Civic my son owned and they had a lot of road noise that got worse with mileage.

I am on my second set of Tours. They are my favorite tire that fits the RX. Long lasting, 50k+ miles, and not noisy even after they get old. Also good in snow. No cupping issues like the Energy.

I have goodyear comfort treads on my rx350 and I have no "noise" issues at all. All Season's are rated higher overall but I just used my comforts in a snowstorm and they held up just fine.

I have the Michelin Premier A/S and I'm in love with the tires.

Before I went with the Michelin I had the Bridgestone Dueler H/L because I was trying to save a few bucks and it was a mistake, luckily they took them back and spent the extra money on the Michelin.

Can't go wrong with Michelin.

Has anyone tried the Falken Pro G4 A/S. Discount tire has them for $85 each for the 18' version.

I researched here and Tire Rack. Went with the Latitude Tours, after a discount they were $20 more than the Goodyears.

I had Bridgestones on 2 vehicles and neither lasted long. I've had good luck with Michelin.

I have never had any luck with Goodyears on any customers Lexus's.
Michelin have always been a much better tire, however they do wear quicker!

For years I have been using Hankook Tires on all my rides. They have a tire guaranteed for 100,000 miles. They ship FREE. (online) $131.00 each, NO tax, no disposal fee,

Tire Size P 225 /55 R17 95T SL BSW ($131.00)
Mileage Warranty 100,000 Miles
UTQG 700AB
Load Range SL
Speed Rating T

Tire Size 225 /55 R17 97W SL BSW ($123.00)
Mileage Warranty 50,000 Miles
UTQG 500AAA
Load Range SL
Speed Rating W *

Don't need the W over the T, and the W only half the guaranteed mileage.

Should you have to replace a tire, they will send a NEW one to you, wherever you are,and they don't want the old tire back. This is good if you are not at home.

Just a thought!
