Default New 04 RX330 to me

Hello Club Lexus folks, I recently purchased a 04 RX330 FWD this last Sunday. I am very happy with the car however I have a few questions. I had a PPI completed before i purchased the car. This is what they discovered.

1. Car may need brakes 25% in Front 15% in Rear.

2. Car's transmission fluid needs to be flushed.

3. Wipers and Oil Change.

Things that I've noticed after driving. Car has 119K miles.

1. Car can be bouncy at times and i think the shocks may be going.

2. Car has matching front, but mis matched rear tires. I'd say about 30-40% all round

3. Previous owner says he doesn't know if Water pump/Timing belt has been changed? PPI said it looked good, is there a way to tell if its been done?

4. Dash has cracks (Hooray for warranty repair!)

5. Car needs new key. Maybe use the CL discount for a new key?

6. Car needs new passenger mirror glass due to leaking dimming fluid. Maybe from eBay?

Would you guys recommend the Struts/Tires job first or the timing belt/water pump job first? When I do struts do I also need to do bushings, control arms axels? My goal is to make this into a reliable daily driver to carry our new child around. I picked up the car for a good but off KBB so i have some room to fix things.

Thanks in advance for your help. I look forward to helping out with the community.

Regarding if the water pump & timing belt has been replaced. I would register the vehicle at the Lexus Drivers website. It will show all work done by Lexus on the vehicle as well as warranty work and recalls. You will need the VIN to register. Here is the link.

The Lexus dealership placed a sticker in the engine compartment when they replaced the timing belt on my 04. Take a close inspection. Brakes don't seem that bad, Fronts wear faster than rears. You are probably good for another 10k plus.

All you need to know is the code which is found inside the owners manual. read below from the seller:

**VERY IMPORTANT**
After you purchase this listing you will need to email us your "key code" which is located on the
small credit card key included in your owners manual. If you don't have this card you will need to
contact your local Lexus dealer to request the code. By law they MUST provide this key code
to you after you provide proof of ownership for your vehicle.

PROGRAMMING:

No reprogramming necessary, Just swap over your old electronics into the new shell.

Percentage is a strange way of measuring the brakes. Every shop I know measures the brake pads in millimeters. I would replace the pads at 4 or 5mm.
