Oil Cooler Pipe Repair and Reimbursement from Lexus
First of all, I apologize if this is a dupe. I searched, but couldn't find anything.
Has anyone had any success getting reimbursed for their oil cooler pipe being replaced? Mine broke back in August and I was super blessed to discover the issue before all of my oil ran out. I had the car repaired at the local Toyota dealership (the nearest Lexus dealership is around 100 miles away and I wasn't going to have the car taken there due to the distance and that I needed it repaired as soon as possible). Around a week ago I received a letter from Lexus stating that they were extending the warranty on that particular part and that if you had already paid for the repair that you could seek reimbursement at this website: http://www.reimbursementlexus.com/
Has anyone else done this and actually been reimbursed? I submitted my application for reimbursement tonight (repair invoice, payment receipt, and car title) and I'm a little worried as they mentioned on the website of only using a Lexus dealership for the repair. Thanks for any help.
